Video Editor Needed for 80s Documentary-Style YouTube Video

Hi! We’re looking for a skilled video editor for a long-form documentary-style YouTube video. This project focuses on 80s pop culture, cinema, and business, combining narration with dynamic visuals.

What You’ll Do:

– Edit a long-form 30+ minute video essay/documentary with a strong narrative flow
– Match footage to narration, sourcing accurate period/80s movie, music, and commercial clips
-a library will be provided, however sourcing clips from external sources may be necessary
– Create powerful visual hooks, smooth transitions, overlays, and effects that enhance engagement
– Maintain a vibrant, authentic 80s aesthetic

Who You Are:

– video editor with a strong sense of pacing & visual storytelling
– Knowledgeable about 80s pop culture, or able to learn quickly and find relevant clips
– Able to deliver high-quality, polished work within deadlines
– bonus if you’ve edited successful/viral YouTube documentaries or video essays
